IMPLEMENTATION OF A SYSTEM OF MANAGEMENT OF SERVICE WORKS AND MAINTENANCE OF THE RAILWAY INFRASTRUCTURE
Maintaining the railway infrastructure requires immediate response to failures as well as efficient planning and implementation of maintenance works.
As part of the Luceos Smart implementations, the coordinators received a system for managing notifications and service orders with dedicated management panels. The customer's field team has been equipped with a mobile application for handling service orders. Subcontractors received access to the Portal and to the e-mail notification system, in which they can confirm the acceptance and stages of implementation of received applications and orders. Work that is at risk of delay is highlighted in advance on management panels by coordinators, giving them time to take appropriate action.
Electronic communication using the mobile application and the portal significantly improved the flow of information. Access to up-to-date data allowed for faster and better decisions, and thus increased efficiency and reduced costs.
